about.
Having spent over a decade in visual merchandising, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with physical retail. Brands have a unique opportunity to create a physical representation of their identity, and the way they choose to do that speaks volumes. I’ve seen this done many times at companies like Apple, Nordstrom, Amazon, Wayfair, and Anthropologie, where I’ve played a critical role in designing customer experiences. Through those experiences, I’ve learned so much about the many ways to tell compelling, merchandise-centric stories within the brick-and-mortar space.
I’ve now decided to redirect my expertise toward more boutique retail experiences and the teams that run them. I’ve always found immersive customer experiences to be the factor that separates good retail experiences from great ones, and no one has the ability to create great customer experiences like small business owners.
After curating the right staff, assortment, operating resources, and logistics processes, store owners often don’t have the preferred bandwidth to create the perfect store experience for their customers. This is where my expertise comes in! I’d love to set up time for us to chat about where your store is, where you want it to be, and how to effectively tackle the space in between. :)
